‘Ar Hyd y Nos’ (All Trough the Night) is a Welsh folk song with its tune first published in 1784, in Edward Jones' ‘Musical and Poetical Relics of the Welsh Bards. Enchanted by this delicate little melody ever since I first heard it, here an interpretation as an electro-acoustic miniature for vibro-actuated glockenspiel (’Rings’), epiano and electronics.
