Ben Bengler is a musician, multidisciplinary maker and installation artist. In his works, he places the audience’s experience at the centre, creating new interactive and immersive approaches to musical performance and installation.
His interactive sound installations have been exhibited internationally, including at Ars Electronica, Linz; Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), London; Sónar Festival, Barcelona; OCT Loft, Shenzhen; Yang Gallery, 798 Art Zone Beijing; Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nürnberg.
His works have been featured in prominent international media outlets on design, art, music and tech such as VICE, Engadget, Booooooom, CDM, Future Music, ACM Interactions, FAD Magazine.
As a musician (live electronics), Bengler has performed in Germany, Great Britain, Sweden and Austria.
As his day job he works as Design Director at the boutique design and innovation studio co-axial, focusing on projects and products that seamlessly blend the physical and the digital.
