Co-creating Interactive Drama

Workshop & Interactive Production (2015)

With a group of design students from China and the UK we set up a temporary Maker space in Hengling, a rural village in China’s Hunan province. Over 13 days we co-created an interactive drama and interactive art exhibition combining physical computing with locally-sourced found objects and materials. The final show was attended by over 300 local people.

Role: Co-facilitator | Teaching physical computing & interactive stage production

Team: Nick Bryan-Kinns (QMUL), Wang Wei (Hunan University)

Awarded QM public engagement award 2015 (Category: 'Inspire')
